You can add experiments to the information monitor that hangs near the computer room at K2 - to attract more walk-ins. The information will appear in the scrolling information window on the left.

See here what the screen currently looks like: http://130.37.96.134/zaalinfo/

Marco Bernard (ME.Benard@vu.nl) is looking after the site and advised me that it’s still “under construction” so possibly not everything works smoothly. If we use it, they’d like to hang up more of those screens and put more work into the interface, so we can reach even more people.

To add your experiment, you have to:

1. Go to http://130.37.96.134/zaalinfo/EditMessages/ (capital letters are important)

2. Log in with user: cogpsy, password: Aandacht!

3. Click on the green calendar icon underneath overview

4. Fill in the form. You can reference the experiment overview to check what is asked. (You have to pick an image, however, it will not be displayed on the screen in the current version). Please add your name in the message window, something like “Researcher: … “.

5. Click on “Save message”

6. Check on http://130.37.96.134/zaalinfo/ how your message looks

7. If you want to edit information after submitting the experiment, you can click on the info in the overview and change your text. Make sure to press “enter” after editing.
